SAAB is DEAD

Sad information before the weekend : GM has decided to close down Saab. Saab will start to close down in January, and then within short time will the workers quit fastly. It is sad to see that GM didn't get anyone to buy Saab, even though there was some real buyers there. I wonder if there will be someone in the behind now that wants to start up with a clean new Saab company or not.... time will show.
RIP SAAB!

A new Aston Martin....

Strange, but Aston Martin has a small car coming next year the "Cygnet". It's gonna be a car based on Toyota IQ. 0-100km/h is nothing that any AM owner is used to, but AM claims that an AM owner would like to have a small car to use daily..... Well, I can't understand why a normal AM can be used daily !!?? Anyway, here is some pictures:

Best looking race driver - ever !?

The best looking - most sexy! - NASCAR driver ever - and yes, it's a girl!!



At last Danica Patrick has decided to go to NASCAR. Here is some information:

"The "Will she, won't she" debate is over – Danica Patrick is headed for closed-wheel racing in 2010. Patrick will race a partial schedule in next year's National Nationwide series in the No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet, and she will also participate in one ARCA race.
As a driver on the No. 7 team, she will be signed through 2011 to the JR Motorsports team that's owned by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Rick Hendrick, Kelley Earnhardt and Tony Eury, Jr. through 2011. This bit of news is not to say that Danica is eschewing her open-wheel career – she will also continue to race her similarly day-glo green Andretti Autosport IndyCar, also in full GoDaddy.com regalia.
The NASCAR events that she will race in will be interlaced with her IndyCar schedule, before, during, and after the open-wheel season. Danica's first stock car race will be a February 6 ARCA race in Daytona, the day before the Super Bowl. As usual, her primary sponsors will feature Patrick in a slate of new commercials during the big NFL game, and we're willing to bet that they'll have a bit of NASCAR flavor."

The old Rally B-group class was a monster class in rally - but the sound was just fantastic! PS: look at the nuts people around the roads!!

High Speeding FORD!

The Ford GT has been on the market for a while, but it has never been as speedy and green as this! Mr. Geiger in Germany is doing tuning of US muscle cars, and now he has looked at the GT. Power has been lifted up to 790hp from 550hp - yes with a blower installed of course. The top speed has been adjusted to 360km/h, which I think would be the fastest any GT has gone..... or at least amongst the fastest..... Perhaps Geiger thought the bright green color would help - I don't know, but it looks good too I think - perhaps because we don't see this hefty green color so often on a car -- it looks fast! :-))

Saab has yet another possible buyer...!!

It should be fairly known by now that Koenigsegg has "left the (saab)building" - they spent some 45m$ together with an investor group, only in preparation, to buy Saab....

"No SAAB for us!!"

You would then think that other supercar manufacturers don't want to try the same...? yes? NO! Of course some people and companies don't learn of others mistakes.... So, Spyker from Netherland has brought to GM attention that they want to buy Saab. Not alone of course (something they learned from Koenigsegg...), but together with some investors - they just have to find them first!!

"YES! We'll spend some money we don't have! - just to get a car called SpySaab"

Well, it may be the situation that Spyker manage to complete what Koenigsegg didn't - time will show if Saab lives with Spyker, or if GM decide to lock down the building in Sweden...

SLS AMG by Kicherer

The SLS AMG has quickly became a hit among tuners. This is the third or fourth only the last two days..... It's from Kicherer this time. Their kit is called SLS 63 CP and comes with carbon made front spoiler lip, roof, rear diffuser and larger air intakes to better cool the 6.3 liter V8 engine. After my opinion is this the best option so far! Very clean and nicely done!

007's Aston ?

Well, 007 has not used this Aston.... but the owner of seems to would like that :-)))
The owner has wrapped the car in a foil, which gives the impression of a wrecked up Vantage, even with bullet wholes.....

I can't say I like it too much.... the car I like though!

Winter is now on its way...

Like it or not, but the winter is soon to come in the northern parts of Europe and USA/Canada - be warned by these videos :-)))

MR Design Black Scirocco

The Scirocco is a cool car, but when styled up like this is this car even cooler. Very good work done by MR Design.

Lumma Design M5....

Nice one from Lumma Design : M5 with 730hp and a topspeed of 228mph/367kmh. Nice look out side, but the interior is perhaps not that tasty....
